Collect10ns 2012-2022 : 10th anniversary celebration at the Dräi Eechelen Museum
Happy Birthday!
This year, the Dräi Eechelen Museum – Fortress, History, Identities is celebrating its 10th anniversary on the Kirchberg. It is a perfect opportunity to display the flagship objects the M3E has acquired within a decade particularly rich in findings and donations. Embark on a treasure hunt that will take you among others to Charles the Bold, a monstrance from the Marienthal monastery, a marble bust of the Prussian king, a spectacular vase from the Boch company and rosette stones from one of the vanished fortress gates. The exhibition focuses primarily on the story behind the objects as well as on their origins. Collected persistently by some, handed down from generation to generation by others, or coming from traditional powerhouse families such as the Munchens, the Tornacos, the Blochausens and the Bechs, these objects have one thing in common: one way or another – whether through intensive research, thanks to a donation or by pure chance – they have ended up in the Fortress Museum.
Come and (re-)discover these jewels of Luxembourg's cultural treasure showcased for the first time in the extraordinary setting of our 10th anniversary.
