Liberation Route and World War II
Discover the historical sites and memorials associated with the Second World War. Follow in the footsteps of the Allied troops by covering part of the Liberation Route and the main memorials. This free guided tour will also introduce you to the permanent exhibition on the history of the German Occupation at the Lëtzebuerg City Museum.

Wenzel circular walk
The Wenzel Circular Walk guides visitors through the millennial history of the city of Luxembourg. This walk brings you to the oldest quarters of Luxembourg City as well as to some of the fortress works, which were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1994.

Vauban circular walk
The Vauban Circular Walk is named after the famous military engineer, Sébastien le Prestre de Vauban (1633-1707) who turned Luxembourg into one of Europe’s mightiest fortresses, which earned the city the nickname “Gibraltar of the North”.
