L’ENVERS DU DECOR
What happens when the curtain rises… and we dare to look beyond the stage?
With L’Envers du décor, dancers from the intermediate to advanced levels in classical, contemporary, and jazz dance invite you to cross the boundary of the visible and discover what lies behind movement—between discipline, illusion, and truth.
Structured in three tableaux, this performance reveals different facets of choreographic art:
In the first tableau, teachers Dmitri Domojirov and Lionel Droguet present an interpretation inspired by a major iconic ballet by August Bournonville: “Le Conservatoire”.
A second tableau immerses you in the vibrant world of the musical High School Musical, adapted by teachers Sarah D’Alessandro and Laurence Scassellati.
Finally, a third, resolutely contemporary tableau takes you into a rehearsal full of unexpected events and absurd situations, adapted by teachers Emanuela Iacopini and Ileana Orofino.
Between technical mastery and artistic intensity, L’Envers du décor reveals contrasts, suspended moments, and the power hidden behind every performance.
An invitation to explore what lies behind the curtain, where the set is built before becoming a spectacle.
