Celebrated German novelist Sandra, her French husband Samuel, an aspiring writer, and their eleven-year-old son live in a remote home in the Alps. When Samuel is found dead in the snow, the police wonder whether it was an accident or murder – with Sandra as the main suspect. An investigation into the circumstances of Samuel’s death unearths the depths of the couple’s conflicted relationship.
